As of January 31st, 2012, we have been blessed with $25,608 in donations already received,and our expenses have totaled $23,101, leaving a balance of 2,507.
The kitchen needs to have the new deep sink installed. The new wash station sink in the corner of the kitchen is almost finished. The exhaust fan vent needs to be connected. We will probably wait until spring to cut a hole in the window. The countertops will be fixed where there is damage.
The new carpeting is installed and it looks great, thanks to the carpet committee for all their hard work.
We have heard nothing but praises for the new look in the sanctuary with the changes to the paneling. Thanks to Lea Harrington for her vision on the new look. Also thanks to Shaun and his trustee team, and all the volunteers that worked hard to complete the renovations by Christmas.
The railings in the front entrance way have been changed to add more room on the stairway.
There are still some minor modifications to be made electrically for lighting and miscellaneous.
The parking lot is the next major project to be started when we have the funds available. The initial plans required that we raise $60,000 over a 2 year period.
