Our focus
We are a teaching church, focusing on using the Word of God to allow God's Spirit to change our lives into the image of Christ. We emphaisize discipleship ministries for child, teens and adults that help us to grow in our faith.
Our Mission is summarized in just six words; Love God, Love Others, Make Disciples. These six words serve as remindeers of three key commandments that Jesus gave to all his followers. These three commandments focus our personal lives and the life of our church.
The first two were singled out by Jesus when he was asked what the greatest commandments of the Old Testament were.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength...Love your neighbor as yourself(from Mark 12:29-31 NIV)."
The third one is Jesus' Great Commission to his church.
"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the hold Spirit, and teach them to obey everything that I have command you. And surely, I will be with you always (from Matthew 28:18-20 NIV.)
These three commands expand naturally and logically into our seven purposes.
