new Bible Study

The Desperate Housewives will be beginning a new study on Monday, Jan 23.  We meet at the Church downstairs near the nursery.

We will be studying The Five Love Languages of Children.  Although these same principles could be applied to any relationship.  Gary Chapman has written several books on the same subject.  I have already taken part in the original Five Love Languages as a Bible Study twice, first as a ladies study while we were living in Virginia and then as a couples study here at Kirkville.

We meet from 9:30 am -11:30 am.  The first part of our Study time is to be devoted to sharing from our own devotional time and prayer.  The 2nd part will focus on the book The five Love Languages of Children.

If you are interested I’d like to invite you to join us. :)

Carols of Christmas

The Ladies luncheon was glorious.  The tables were beautifully arrayed with all manor of Christmas decor, each representing a particular Christmas Carol.  A wonderful time of  fellowship, joyous sound of the season and remembering what Christmas is all about in the first place.

The birthday of two precious little girls was celebrated, who happen to have Christmas time birthdays.

Check out the photo album on the side bar for a few pictures from this and other ladies events!  If you request to become a member you can also add your own pictures from the events.  It would be a blessing to see other ladies’ photos as well! :D

The Wesleyan Woman are striving to bless others and meet needs.
Listen to the Holy Spirit, look for ways to meet needs of those around us, and bless others.

At this meeting we packed care packages for our deployed military servicemen.

Monetary donations are needed to mail packages and also to purchase gift cards for our college students.

Next Meeting will be on November 1st at 7 pm. We always meet at Church in the Green Room.
